Chechnya is recognized as the region with the most affordable housing
Experts have found that the most affordable housing in a new building is in Chechnya, where the average cost per square meter is about 40 thousand rubles with an average monthly salary of 43 thousand. In a year, a resident of the region can buy about 13 square meters if he does not spend money on food and other needs. These are the data from the Key Capita study.
 
Also in the top ten were Kabardino-Balkaria, where residents can buy 8.1 square meters of housing per year, and Dagestan with an indicator of 7.8 square meters.
 
The average Russian can buy about four square meters with an annual salary with an average monthly income of 60 thousand rubles and a cost per square meter of 180 thousand. The least affordable housing was in Tyva (2.9 square meters), Karachay-Cherkessia (3 square meters), Crimea (3.6 square meters) and Tatarstan (3.9). Analysts assessed the ratio of the average cost per square meter in new buildings in the region and the average annual income of residents.
