The lavish wedding between businessman Albert Oskanov and Zulya Barakhoyeva, the daughter of State Duma deputy Bekkhan Barakhoyeva from Ingushetia, has attracted public attention. Barakhoyeva is one of the poorest republics in Russia.

According to information circulating on social media, the celebration was held at the elite Barvikha Luxury Village concert complex, located on Rublevo-Uspenskoe Highway. This venue is known as one of the premier venues for social events in Moscow.

According to preliminary estimates, the cost of renting a hall of this caliber could reach several million rubles. However, alternative reports suggest the celebration could have taken place in the banquet hall of the Marriott Imperial Plaza Hotel.

Many famous Russian artists attended and performed at the wedding, including Grigory Leps, Emin Agalarov, Philipp Kirkorov, and Polina Gagarina. The dance of Wildberries co-owner Tatyana Kim was particularly popular with social media users.

Albert Oskanov is one of the founders of Oskelly, an international online service specializing in the resale of exclusive clothing, shoes, and accessories from both new and vintage collections.

Bekkhan Barakhoev, the bride's father, was elected to the State Duma in 2021 from Ingushetia as a representative of the United Russia party. He recently won the party's primaries, giving him an advantage ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections in the fall.

According to Rosstat, Ingushetia has the highest unemployment rate in the country, as well as the lowest wages.
