The house of the Crimean Tatar lawyers was searched

Security forces searched the house of lawyers, the spouses of Lila Gemedzha and Rustem Kyamilev. They are engaged in providing legal support to the Crimean Tatars.

The couple's phones were taken away, and Kyamilev was taken to the building of the "E" Center. Nyara, the lawyer's daughter, asked the security forces why they were conducting the searches. They answered: "Shut your mouth and don't talk here." Also, one of them told her to wait for a summons from the military enlistment office for her brother.

Two administrative protocols were drawn up against Rustem Kyamilev on the discrediting of the army and the demonstration of prohibited symbols. This was reported by Crimean Tatar journalist Lutfie Zudyeva. She also said that the court issued a decree to inspect the premises of the house at the request of the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea.

"We think that this is a new scheme by police officers, which they use to seize the equipment of human rights defenders, journalists, and lawyers in Crimea," Zudyeva shared.
