Lawmakers from several Turkish political parties have jointly called on the government to establish direct transport links between Turkey and Abkhazia and to recognize Abkhaz passports as valid travel documents. According to the Turkish newspaper Jineps Gazetesi, this is the first time such demands have been publicly voiced at the interparty parliamentary level.
Ingushetia has some of the lowest salaries in the country
According to statistics, in the first ten months of 2025, Ingushetia had one of the lowest wages in Russia—42,800 rubles. Furthermore, according to Rosstat, more than a quarter of Ingushetia's population (25.6%) lived below the poverty line in 2023-2024, making the region the leader in this indicator.
This situation contrasts sharply with the top-ranked regions: in Chukotka, the average salary reaches 198,000 rubles, while in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Moscow, it is 176,000 and 173,000 rubles, respectively. The Magadan Region and Kamchatka also recorded salaries exceeding 100,000 rubles.
As for the North Caucasus Federal District, the highest figure is recorded in Stavropol Krai—61,000 rubles.
