Arrested native of Dagestan fined for unwillingness to denounce

Makhachkala court found Muhammad Zubagirov guilty of not reporting a crime and fined him 30 thousand rubles. Since March 2022, after being deported from Poland, the man has been under arrest.

According to his mother, Zubagirov did business and brought goods from Turkey. For the security forces, trips abroad became an occasion to suspect him of involvement in the international terrorist organization ISIS. Zubagirov himself denies the guilt, and there were no questions about him from the Ukrainian authorities, where he lived before the war.

As for the fine, according to the investigation, the defendant in 2016 discussed in a messenger with an acquaintance the latter’s participation in ISIL in Syria and did not report it to the security forces.
