Armenia notes progress in normalizing relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced significant progress in normalizing relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey. According to him, the negotiation processes with Baku and Ankara are showing positive dynamics and are already yielding tangible results.

He noted that the Armenian-Azerbaijani and Armenian-Turkish processes are viewed as separate, yet mutually influencing, branches of regional integration.

Mirzoyan noted a significant breakthrough in relations with Turkey, citing the August 8, 2025, peace declaration and the partial restoration of rail service as achievements. Yerevan also hopes that improved relations with Turkey will provide additional impetus to the peace process with Azerbaijan.
