Azerbaijan has refused to deploy its troops to the Gaza Strip

Azerbaijan has become the latest country to rule out participation in the International Stabilization Force for Gaza, jeopardizing the prospects for the implementation of US President Donald Trump's multinational plan.

Israel Hayom reported on the reluctance of other countries to risk the lives of their troops in the operation to disarm Hamas. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet (Shin Bet) have expressed concerns that Hamas will exploit the ceasefire to rebuild its military potential. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that demilitarizing the Gaza Strip is impossible without external intervention, and in the absence of an international force, Israel is prepared to undertake this task independently.

Meanwhile, Hamas has declared to the US its readiness to resume hostilities in Gaza, citing Israel's systematic violations of the ceasefire and, consequently, announcing its termination.
