Georgian Interior Minister Gela Geladze stated that the banned chemical "kamit," known since World War I, has not only never been used but was also never purchased by the ministry. According to him, the Ministry of Internal Affairs uses only the same special means used in other developed countries.
Ukraine received $1 million in humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan in the form of electrical equipment.
The delivery, organized by the Ministry of Energy in accordance with a decree by President Ilham Aliyev, included 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, 5 transformers, and 27,000 meters of cables and wires. This aid was a response to a request from the Ukrainian side and was dispatched from the Sumgayit Technology Park.
Russian authorities previously criticized Azerbaijan for providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Yalcin Rafiyev emphasized his country's support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and noted that the country has been providing humanitarian aid since the early days of the conflict. He also noted that 330 Ukrainian children have completed a medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation program in Azerbaijan.
