Azerbaijan sent more aid to Ukraine

Ukraine received $1 million in humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan in the form of electrical equipment.

The delivery, organized by the Ministry of Energy in accordance with a decree by President Ilham Aliyev, included 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, 5 transformers, and 27,000 meters of cables and wires. This aid was a response to a request from the Ukrainian side and was dispatched from the Sumgayit Technology Park.

Russian authorities previously criticized Azerbaijan for providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Yalcin Rafiyev emphasized his country's support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and noted that the country has been providing humanitarian aid since the early days of the conflict. He also noted that 330 Ukrainian children have completed a medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation program in Azerbaijan.
