A number of legal entities registered in the UAE, Azerbaijan, China, Slovakia and Turkey were included in the new sanctions list of the US Treasury. The basis was their activity in purchasing equipment abroad, including military equipment, and assistance to the Russian Federation in circumventing sanctions.
In particular, we are talking about the Azerbaijani company Lahic Energy, which is controlled by Yevgeny Aliyev. With its help, as well as with the assistance of other companies, he purchases components for the production of weapons abroad and supplies them to the Russian Federation.
Among other legal entities subject to sanctions are the Azerbaijani GMM FZE and GMM Management.
One of the largest Russian airlines, Pobeda, was also included in the sanctions list. Restrictions were also introduced against the Ural automobile plant, the Bryansk automobile plant and the Proton plant.
