An Azerbaijani military expert commented on the Russian strike on the embassy in Ukraine

Remnants of an Iskander missile fired at Kyiv damaged the Azerbaijani embassy building. The munition fell on the grounds of the diplomatic mission, leaving a large crater. The strike destroyed part of the embassy wall, shattered windows, and damaged vehicles belonging to diplomatic mission staff.

Azerbaijani military expert Adalat Verdiyev stated that this is not the first time Russian strikes have taken place near the Azerbaijani embassy. He also recalled the strikes on SOCAR oil storage facilities in Ukraine and Russia's lack of apology.

"Russia clearly cannot accept Azerbaijan's support for Ukraine and, using the most dangerous weapons, is attempting to retaliate by striking Azerbaijani facilities," Verdiyev noted.

He emphasized that such actions seriously undermine good-neighborly relations between the countries.
