Blogger-serviceman from Dagestan sentenced to a real term for «discrediting» the army

The Novorossiysk Seaside District Court sentenced the former soldier, native of Dagestan Askhabal Alibekov (known in the network as «Wild Paratrooper») to one year and two months of the colony on the case of «discrediting» of the Russian army.

I was tired of proving myself right and I knew the system would break me. I’d rather get off with a little blood and see my family sooner - I don’t believe our judicial system. I am sure that you will put me in jail, I will plead guilty and get a shorter sentence», - said Alibekov in court.

In 2018, he served in the Black Sea Fleet and called for a boycott of the election of the President of the Russian Federation. The human rights project "Support for political prisoners. Memorial" recognized Askhabaly Alibekov as a political prisoner.
