A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

The Moscow City Court recognized the verdict against former Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan Mukhtar Medzhidov as legal. At the end of 2022, a high-ranking official was sentenced to five years in prison in the case of the theft of 108 million rubles from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Medzhidov will serve his sentence in a general regime colony. Additionally, the court fined him 900 thousand rubles and banned him from holding positions in government agencies and local governments for 2.5 years.
Medzhidov was found guilty of embezzling 108 million rubles when allocating funds to the Ministry of Defense facility OJSC Izberbash Radio Plant named after P. S. Pleshakov for the production of a radar landing system. Previously, his son Murtuzali Majidov was sentenced to 13 years on charges of murdering his student girlfriend.
