Chechnya took 6th place in the environmental rating of the Russian Federation

One region of the North Caucasus Federal District was in the top 10 environmental rating of the Russian Federation. So, Chechnya took 6th place in the spring of 2023. Kabardino-Balkaria is located on the 18th line, Ingushetia - on the 22nd, Karachay-Cherkessia - on the 24th, North Ossetia - on the 40th, Dagestan - on the 41st, Stavropol Territory - on the 47th.
 
The leaders are the Tambov and Belgorod regions, the Republic of Altai, the outsiders are the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions.

Each region was evaluated according to three criteria: ecosphere (environmental index), technosphere (industrial-environmental), society (social-environmental). The rating is formed as information materials are received from various sources, including the media, authorities, public organizations, and expert organizations.
