Dagestan and Chechnya - leaders in infant mortality in UCFD

Dagestan ranked first in the CFR for infant mortality, where in 2022, 308 children (7.2 cases per 1,000 births) did not live to the age of one year. This is reported by Rosstat. In second place is Chechnya - 187 newborns died there (more than 6 out of a thousand). In Stavropol Krai, infant mortality claimed 114 lives per year - 4.7 per thousand. Forty-two babies did not live to be born in Ingushetia (5.2 per thousand) and Kabardino-Balkaria (4.1 per thousand). In North Ossetia 29 infants (3.9 per thousand) lost their lives, and in Karachay-Cherkessia 22 (5 per thousand).

According to Rosstat, infant mortality was the lowest in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug - only 2 deaths per thousand.

Denis Alimov, an officer of Center 795, was allegedly arrested in Colombia on charges of planning the kidnapping of opponents of the Russian government.
