According to official reports, the largest number of military personnel from the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District who died in the Northern Military District was in Dagestan – 776 people. In second place was the Stavropol Territory - 300 people.

Next, in decreasing order of the official number of deaths, follow North Ossetia - 263, Chechnya - 175, Kabardino-Balkaria - 129, Ingushetia - 52, Karachay-Cherkessia - 48. In general, in the North Caucasus Federal District, the losses of fighters in the "North Military District" amounted to at least 1,742.
