Dagestan Provided Material Support to Ingushetia's Flood-Stricken Residents

Humanitarian aid intended for families affected by the flooding was delivered to the village of Troitskoye in Ingushetia's Sunzhensky District. The shipment, including food and household items, arrived from Dagestan.

Bagautdin Mamayev, head of Dagestan's Khasavyurt District, initiated the aid collection, enlisting the support of local residents.
Representatives of the Ingush government noted that this act of compassion and support is significant during this difficult time.

"This gesture of kindness and support has become an important initiative during this difficult time for our residents. The republic's residents express their sincere gratitude to their neighbors from fraternal Dagestan for their solidarity, support, and compassion during this challenging period," the republic's government responded.

Earlier, 22 private homes and 48 surrounding areas were damaged by flooding in the village of Troitskoye. Seventy-five people, including 30 children, were evacuated.

These events echo those of April of this year, when Ingushetia, in turn, provided support to residents of Dagestan affected by massive flooding. Approximately 400 tons of drinking water were sent to the disaster-stricken region. Ingush volunteers, including students from the Fire and Rescue College, also actively worked in Dagestan. The volunteers assisted the Ministry of Emergency Situations personnel with pumping out water, clearing rubble, and transporting the victims' belongings.
