Medical student from Dagestan who saved a child's life in Astrakhan receives an award

Student Khalibrahim Gadzhiakhmedov, who saved a drowning child in Astrakhan, will be awarded. This was announced by the head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov.

"Thank you to your mother Salikhat Magomedovna, who, despite all the hardships of life, was able to raise a real highlander! Each such example strengthens my confidence in the happy future of Dagestan. We have many caring young people with good upbringing and the right values," Melikov said.

On March 21, Khalibrahim Gadzhiakhmedov, a student of the pediatric faculty of the Astrakhan Medical University, was taking a walk. On Krasnaya Naberezhnaya Street, he noticed two children playing near the water. One of them fell into the canal and began to drown. The young man immediately rushed to help. He pulled the child out and, using medical skills, performed artificial respiration. Thanks to the help provided, the child came to his senses.
