Dzhabrailov's daughter claims he was "silenced"

Umar Dzhabrailov's suicide theory is being questioned by his family. The businessman's daughter, Alvina Dzhabrailova, claimed her father was "silenced" due to his alleged involvement in the case of Jeffrey Epstein, the American financier convicted of sexually abusing minors and who committed suicide in 2019. It was previously reported that Umar Dzhabrailov knew Epstein.

According to media reports, Epstein's files contained correspondence between Dzhabrailov and the American financier's assistant, Ghislaine Maxwell. In 2001, the businessman informed her of his return from England and asked her to confirm the dates of her arrival in Russia. Maxwell promised Dzhabrailov she would arrive in the country the following week. In addition to the correspondence, Epstein's files also contained a photo of the former senator taken in 1990. The man is seen practicing karate.

Meanwhile, according to sources, on the day of his death, Dzhabrailov sent his security guards a text message declaring his intention to commit suicide. The guards found him in serious condition. It is noted that the former senator may have been experiencing financial difficulties in recent years, which could have triggered depression.

Furthermore, according to media reports, Umar Dzhabrailov's former lawyer, Alexander Karabanov, told the publication that his former client could not have committed suicide due to possible mention in documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. According to Karabanov, such behavior is uncharacteristic of Dzhabrailov.

Law enforcement agencies also reported that no alcohol or drugs were found in the apartment where the deceased businessman was found.

Alvina Dzhabrailova, who lives in Monaco, is organizing a fundraiser for a trip to Russia to say goodbye to her father. His funeral will take place in Chechnya on March 3.
