The daughter and nephew of Suleiman Kerimov fell under British sanctions

The United Kingdom imposed sanctions against 11 Russian companies and individuals, including relatives of billionaire Dagestan Suleiman Kerimov. This is his daughter Gulnara and nephew Nariman Hajiyev.

According to EU and UK authorities, both relatives are involved in Kerimov’s financial interests. The Senator’s son was previously included on the British sanctions list. It was on Karimova the younger were issued a number of assets, including the airport of Makhachkala and the largest gold mining company PJSC "Polyus". Suleiman Kerimov himself has long been on the sanctions lists of the United States, the EU and the United Kingdom.
