Two CBI residents fined for «discrediting» the army

The Chegem District Court of Kabardino-Balkaria fined Hasansh Urusov 30 thousand rubles. He was punished for his post on Instagram with the text: "As long as these poor fighters fulfill their military duties and give their lives, the government is fulfilling its duty to reduce the population...". The police and the court considered that the recording would discredit the Russian army.

Another CBI resident from the Zola region, Islam Mambetov, was similarly punished. According to the Court, he published "a publication designed to attract the attention of an indeterminate circle of persons and aimed at discrediting the use of the armed forces of the Russian Federation".
