FSB: “militants” detained in Dagestan participated in financing the terrorist attack in Crocus

Four bandits detained yesterday during the CTO financed and supplied the terrorists who carried out the attack on Crocus City Hall. One of them admitted that he took weapons to them in Mytishchi. The FSB of the Russian Federation reports this.

According to the department, the detainees also planned to blow up the embankment and city park in Kaspiysk and leave the Russian Federation. The criminals conducted reconnaissance of the area, made an improvised explosive device and purchased automatic weapons.

On March 31, during a counter-terrorism operation in Makhachkala and Kaspiysk, four “militants” were detained. According to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC), security forces blocked them in several apartments in residential areas. There were no injuries or losses.

It is reported that three of the detainees are from the Central Asian republic, one is from Dagestan.

On March 22, terrorists attacked Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow. According to the latest data, 144 people died, most of them were poisoned by carbon monoxide in a fire due to blocked emergency exits. To date, nine people suspected of involvement in the attack have been arrested.
