The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: "The shootout between the natives of Chechnya and Dagestan in the Russian army led to the death of 20 people"

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a shootout between Russian army fighters from Chechnya and Dagestan in the village of Mikhailovka in the partially occupied Zaporozhye region. Losses amounted to more than 20 people killed and 40 wounded.

“During the filming of a video by Russian propagandists with the participation of a high-ranking Kadyrov commander, there was a verbal skirmish between the Kadyrovites and the Dagestanis. As a result, the parties to the conflict opened fire on each other, one of the invaders was killed. This led to an open confrontation with the use of grenade launchers and grenades. As a result, more than 20 killed and 40 wounded invaders were recorded on both sides. The commander of the Kadyrov unit was punished by being sent to the front lines, ”the General Staff said in a summary for August 15 on its Facebook account.

The Russian authorities did not comment on Kyiv's allegations.
