In Crimea, police officers issued human rights activist Abdureshit Dzhepparov a warning against violating the law. Law enforcement officials explained the document's origins in connection with the upcoming holiday on May 9th, but such actions typically occur shortly before the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatar People (May 18th).
The head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, met with Palestinian refugees in the republic and got acquainted with their living conditions.
Between 25 and 27 November, 147 Palestinian refugees arrived in Dagestan in three groups. One of the main questions they have is related to paperwork and obtaining Russian citizenship.
Also, all arrivals had a problem with cellular communication. This issue was resolved promptly.
Let us remind you that on November 25, the first group of refugees from the Gaza Strip arrived in Dagestan. The second group arrived on November 26. The guests were accommodated at one of the recreation centers in Dagestan, where a temporary accommodation center was set up.
To date, the republic has received about 150 internally displaced persons, most of them women and children.
