Georgian football fans chanted “Putin-hu..o!” after their team’s success

Georgia loudly celebrates its players' progress to the playoffs at the European Championships in Germany. In the center of Tbilisi on Freedom Square, among other slogans, they chanted “Putin-hu..o!”

Georgian football players, who competed in the European Championship for the first time in history, immediately made it to the playoffs, beating Portugal the day before (2:0). Previously, in the group they lost to Turkey (1:3) and tied with the Czech Republic (1:1). On June 30, in the 1/8 finals, Georgian football players will play against the Spanish national team.
