Ingushetia and Chechnya are among the regions with the lowest number of crimes

Ingushetia took second place, and Chechnya took fifth place for the lowest number of registered crimes in 2024 among the regions of the Russian Federation. The data was provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.

The lowest number of crimes were registered in 2024 in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug - 865. The Nenets Autonomous Okrug was in second place in terms of safety - 877 offenses.
Ingushetia took third place, with 1938 crimes registered. It is followed by the Magadan Region (2499) and the Chechen Republic (2583).

The Central Federal District leads in the number of crimes (more than 418 thousand), and in total, over 1.9 million offenses were registered in Russia in 2024.
