Major General Vladimir Kotov, previously deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Voronezh Region, has been appointed Minister of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia. The ceremony to introduce the new head of the department was held in Magas.

Ingushetia, along with Chukotka, became the region where internet outages were recorded the least in July in Russia.
In addition, in Ingushetia, wired and mobile internet were not disconnected at the same time, unlike all other subjects of the Russian Federation.
In other Russian regions, communication outages were observed many times more often, and they intensified by the end of the month: on July 18, problems with the internet were recorded in 79 regions at once, in 71 of them - only with mobile or with both mobile and wired.
Restrictions have been introduced in Ingushetia on filming drones and other objects. According to the new rules, it is prohibited to produce and distribute photo and video materials related to the use of unmanned aerial vehicles and the consequences of their use, as well as data on the location of military infrastructure. In addition, the publication of information about communication systems, fuel and energy facilities, industrial enterprises, housing and communal services, bridges and other critically important facilities was banned.
