Ivanishvili: the war in Ukraine will end in a maximum of a year

If Georgia is involved in a war with the Russian Federation, it will suffer more severe consequences than Ukraine. This was stated by the founder of the ruling Georgian Dream party, billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili at the opening of the election campaign. He noted that the “global war party” wants to include Georgia in the war.

According to Ivanishvili, the country only has a year left to postpone it, as a result of which “both global and regional political interests, as well as specifically interests in relation to Georgia, will fundamentally change.”

“The war in Ukraine will end in a year at the latest, and if the Republicans win the presidential elections in America, the war could end even in January,” he added.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze shared: “We really hope that the war in Ukraine will end soon, Ukraine needs peace, and, of course, this will be one of the factors that will contribute to the improvement of our country’s relations with the EU and the USA.”
