Deputy Prime Minister of Chechnya Akhmed Dudayev delivered the humanitarian aid, including food, building materials, generators, and motor pumps, to Dagestan. During the trip, he met with affected villagers and local administration representatives. Renowned athlete Artur Beterbiev was also part of the delegation.
Meanwhile, Dagestan authorities are taking measures to address the aftermath of the emergency. Head of the republic, Sergei Melikov, ordered the compilation of a list of affected homes. One-time financial assistance for victims amounts to 15,675 rubles per person. Payments for property loss (from 78,735 to 156,750 rubles), damage to health (from 313,500 to 627,000 rubles), and compensation in the event of death (1,567,500 rubles per family) are also provided. As of April 16, some payments have already been made to 838 residents.
