Crimean Tatar who protested the war in Ukraine has been released from prison
Aziz Fayzullaev, a defendant in the case of the arson of the administration building in Crimea, has been released. In this way, he protested the war in Ukraine. The man served three years in IK-2 in Kerch.
 
Aziz Fayzullaev was detained in June 2022. According to investigators, he broke a window in the administration building of the Pushkinskoye rural settlement and threw two Molotov cocktails into the building. It was reported that no one was hurt.
 
After Fayzullaev was detained, a video appeared on pro-government Telegram channels in which he admits his guilt. His sister noted that he was “pressured.” The man himself said that he tried to set fire to the building as a sign of disagreement with the war in Ukraine, where his relatives live.
