Kadyrov called for being ready to repel the threat “for the good of the state”

At a meeting with the leadership of security agencies and law enforcement agencies, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, instructed the security forces to be “in a state of constant combat readiness.”

“We must be ready at any moment to repel the emerging threat for the benefit of our state,” Kadyrov said. He also instructed commanders to train subordinates in tactical military training.

On March 15, the commander of the Chechen Separate Special Purpose Battalion (OBON) Rustam Azhiev announced the start of sabotage activities in Russia. According to him, sabotage will continue until the military “liberates the territory of the independent state of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.”
This task was also confirmed by Shamil Zakaev, the son of the head of the government of Ichkeria abroad, Akhmed Zakaev.

“We will carry out sabotage operations until they completely liberate our lands and all Chechens illegally held in Russian prisons. Today this Kremlin gang is trying to hold fake elections. Just like thirty years ago, they held these so-called elections and began to realize their vile ambitions to conquer foreign lands,” Zakayev said.
