Kadyrov again appointed a relative to a ministerial post

The nephew of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, Adam Cherkhigov became the Minister of Transport, Communications and Digital Development of the region. Previously, this position was held by his father Ramzan Cherkhigov, and at that time he himself was the chairman of the republican government committee on preschool education.

Positions in Chechnya are occupied en masse by Kadyrov’s children, his sisters, sons-in-law, nephews, brothers, as well as the children of his associates. So, recently his 18-year-old son Akhmat became the Minister of Sports. The young man is also the president of the Akhmat football club. Umar Daudov and Akhmad-Khadzhi Delimkhanov were appointed as his deputies in the Ministry of Sports. The first is the son of Magomed Daudov, chairman of the regional government, the second is the nephew of State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov.

In April, Kadyrov appointed his other son, 16-year-old Adam, as curator of the Putin Russian Special Forces University. This is an educational institution in the Russian Federation, created for the training of special units. In November 2023, Adam Kadyrov became the curator of the Sheikh Mansur battalion. In addition, he received at least 10 awards after beating 19-year-old Volgograd student Nikita Zhuravel in the Grozny pre-trial detention center.

Kadyrov’s 24-year-old daughter Khadizhat was awarded the post of deputy head of the administration of the head of Chechnya. And 25-year-old Aishat Kadyrova served as deputy head of the Chechen government. She also happened to serve as the Minister of Culture of Chechnya.
