Moscow regarded Armenia's ban on entry to Russian citizens as an unfriendly move. The corresponding statement was made by the press secretary of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. This was a reaction to the fact that Yerevan recently did not allow in former State Duma deputy, propagandist Franz Klintsevich.

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, called RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan “a true patriot who defends national interests on any platform.” This is how he reacted to her words about the need for nuclear tests in the airspace over Siberia, which caused public criticism.
“Instead of hype on her statements, acting as benefactors and defenders, it would be better for everyone else to do something useful and make their tangible, rather than ranting, contribution to the fight against NATO and neo-Nazism,” suggested Ramzan Kadyrov. He also explained Simonyan’s words by saying that “even with such an unfavorable development of events, Russia, compared to the rest of the world, will not lose strategically.”
Let us recall that Margarita Simonyan proposed detonating a thermonuclear bomb over Siberia. According to her, this will be “the most humane option”: there will be no nuclear winter, no one will die from cancer, but all radio electronics and all satellites of Russia’s opponents will be disabled. The Kremlin commented on the statement, saying that Russia did not leave the nuclear test cessation regime.
