The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on plans by US President Donald Trump's family, along with local partners, to build a 70-story Trump Tower in Tbilisi. According to the publication, the building is slated to be the tallest in the Georgian capital.
This news comes amid the ruling Georgian Dream party's desire to restore relations with the United States and establish a partnership with the Trump administration.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that on January 5, nine industrial generators of varying capacity, valued at over $553,000, allocated by the Georgian government to support Ukrainian regions affected by Russian aggression, were handed over to the authorized representative of the Sumy Military Administration.
The devices were officially handed over by Georgia's Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine, Irakli Abesadze. The diplomatic ministry expressed gratitude to the Georgian government, noting that, in addition to these nine units, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, Tbilisi has already sent 27 powerful generators to Ukraine for social and infrastructure facilities in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Gostomel.
"Given daily terrorist attacks and severe cold, this humanitarian aid is extremely important and timely." "It will strengthen the resilience of the Sumy region, which is under daily threat from the Russian enemy, facing brutal attacks on civilian infrastructure and the civilian population," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
At the end of December, the Georgian Ministry of Economy announced the dispatch of nine generators of various types and capacities as humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The shipment was sent by the Georgian Energy Development Fund JSC based on an order from Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
