Another lawsuit filed by former Senator Rauf Arashukov of the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic, sentenced to life imprisonment in the Black Dolphin prison colony, was dismissed by a court in the Orenburg region. The convict sought 100,000 rubles for moral damages related to incomplete food distribution.
The court has filed a claim for compensation for moral suffering in the amount of 300 million rubles from Ismail Eljarkiev. The demands were directed to the accused of killing his brothers, one of whom was Ibrahim Eljarkiev, head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Centre for Combating Extremism. Ismail Eljarkiev is recognized as a civil plaintiff.
