The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on plans by US President Donald Trump's family, along with local partners, to build a 70-story Trump Tower in Tbilisi. According to the publication, the building is slated to be the tallest in the Georgian capital.
This news comes amid the ruling Georgian Dream party's desire to restore relations with the United States and establish a partnership with the Trump administration.
On Russian television, propagandist Vladimir Solovyov stated that Russia should focus on its "near abroad" rather than Syria or Venezuela. In his view, the situation in Armenia and Central Asia poses a far greater problem for Moscow.
"What's happening in Armenia is far more painful for us than what's happening in Venezuela. The loss of Armenia is a gigantic problem. The problem in our Central Asia is a gigantic problem for us, and we must very clearly articulate our goals and objectives. We must explain: the game is over. International law be damned," the TV host said.
Solovyev called for ignoring international law, drawing parallels between the "North-Eastern Military Operation" in Ukraine and possible similar actions in other countries within Russia's sphere of influence. He also advocated for tougher measures in Ukraine, arguing that "cruelty" would hasten the end of the conflict.
