The Nalchik Garrison Military Court found serviceman Akromat Bersanov-Tsaroyev guilty of leaving his unit without leave (Part 5, Article 337 of the Russian Criminal Code). He was sentenced to five years and one month in prison.

Since 2019, since his arrest, Tofik Abdulgaziev has lost 40 kilograms. He was recently transferred from intensive care to the intensive care unit of the Verkhneuralsk hospital in the Chelyabinsk region, where his family was able to visit him.
“My husband, who was in full health before his arrest, positive, always smiling and handsome, Tofik, is now an exhausted, weakened person,” said Aliye Kurtametova’s wife.
Crimean Solidarity activist, Crimean Tatar Tofik Abdulgaziev was sent into custody on March 27, 2019. In May 2022, the Southern District Military Court of Rostov-on-Don sentenced him to 12 years in prison.
He, like hundreds of other Crimean Tatars, was accused of participating in the Islamic party Hizb ut-Tahrir, which was recognized as terrorist in the Russian Federation. At the same time, in the materials of criminal cases there is no information about the planning or implementation of terrorist attacks, as well as about calls for them.
