Mikheil Saakashvili expressed hope for future friendship between Georgia and Ukraine

Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili wrote on his Facebook account: "I am Putin's personal prisoner, and he is personally engaged in my destruction." The political prisoner also commented on the tense relations between Georgia and Ukraine.

“Today, Ukraine is fighting for the freedom of Georgia, and President Zelensky, Andriy Yermak and the whole team have a special sympathy for the Georgian people. Relations with Ukraine are undermined by the fifth column of the oligarch, which, in addition to following the instructions of Moscow patrons, also warms its hands on betraying the interests of Georgia and Ukraine. All this will be answered very soon,” Saakashvili said. Speaking of the oligarch, he means Bidzina Ivanishvili, a former citizen of the Russian Federation, who is called the shadow ruler of Georgia.

Recently, during a regular court session, Mikheil Saakashvili, who is in the clinic, was shown very exhausted as a result of a hunger strike. The Ukrainian authorities expressed indignation and expelled the Georgian ambassador.
