A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

The Georgian government is not against the arrival of Polish doctors to examine ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili. This was reported in the Ministry of Justice of the country.
According to the department, the state is interested in the treatment of this patient and is ready to ensure the arrival of any doctor from a foreign clinic. The arrival of Polish doctors to assess Saakashvili's condition was reported by his lawyers. Meanwhile, information appeared in the Polish media that the visit became possible only after the EU representatives handed over a demarche to the Ministry of Justice.
In particular, EU Ambassador to Georgia Pavel Gerchinsky said that Mikheil Saakashvili's state of health is not his personal responsibility. "We will once again remind the Georgian authorities that they are obliged to protect the rights of people in places of deprivation of liberty," he said.
Earlier, the Tbilisi Court of Appeal dismissed the lawsuit filed by Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyers demanding his release or reprieve due to his health condition.
