At the European Football Championship, Georgian fans chanted “Putin is x..lo!”

Yesterday at the match between the national teams of Georgia and Turkey, Georgian fans chanted “Putin is f*cked.” Match TV showed it live, then cut it out of the broadcast and returned it, but without sound.

Media and journalists wrote that the fragment at the end of the 38th minute of the match was removed from the broadcast recording. In the morning the fragment was returned, but the slogan was removed.

Georgia lost to Turkey with a score of 1:3. The team's next matches will be against the Czech Republic (June 22) and Portugal (June 26).

“We saw a decent performance from our guys at the European Championship,” summed up the mayor of Tbilisi and ex-Milan defender Kakha Kaladze.
