At the International Forum in Ashgabat dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, Russian was the primary language of communication among the heads of delegations from the CIS countries, according to Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov.

According to him, only representatives from Georgia and Armenia did not use Russian. The forum was attended by the Russian President, who is also holding a series of bilateral meetings with the leaders of Iraq, Iran, Turkey, and Pakistan.

Topics discussed during the talks included bilateral relations, peace efforts to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict (including the freezing of Russian assets in the EU), a ceasefire, and ensuring the security of critical infrastructure.

Erdoğan stated Turkey's readiness to participate in all formats to support the peace process. The situation in the Gaza Strip and Syria, as well as the peace process in the South Caucasus, were also discussed.
