In Stavropol, a man will be tried for burning wreaths in the Eternal Fire

The court of Kislovodsk will consider the criminal case about the burning of memorial wreaths in the cup of eternal fire. This is reported by the Investigative Committee of the Stavropol Territory.

The incident occurred on the night of May 28 at the Voynskaya Slava memorial. According to the investigation, the man threw wreaths into the Eternal Fire and went home. It is known that he had alcohol with him. Damage to municipal property exceeded 190 thousand rubles.

A criminal case was opened against the man under articles 167 and 243.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - on intentional damage to a monument to participants in the Second World War. He is under arrest.
