A petrochemical plant in Stavropol Krai was hit by another drone attack

Forty-two Ukrainian drones were shot down over Russian regions on the night of April 1. Most (30) were shot down over the Rostov Oblast, and one over Stavropol Krai.

Authorities in Stavropol Krai are not commenting on the aftermath of the night's events. Meanwhile, NASA satellites have detected three fires in the industrial zone of the Stavrolen plant in Budyonnovsk. Neither the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces nor the Russian Ministry of Defense have confirmed the strike on the plant.

Stavrolen has been repeatedly attacked by Ukraine, most recently on the night of December 23, 2025. Kyiv claims that this plant, owned by Lukoil, produces polymers from hydrocarbon feedstocks, supplying materials for the Russian military, including drone production.
