Shelling of a car on the road between Chiri-Yurt and Novye Atagami, shooting at a residential area in Urus-Martan

At about 13:00, on the road between the settlements of Chiri-Yurt and Novye Atagi, a blue UAZ car was fired upon. The shelling was carried out from the side of a checkpoint located on the outskirts of the village of Novye Atagi, at the fork in the road leading to the village of Chechen-Aul. As a result of the shelling, a UAZ passenger named Deshi was seriously wounded. The wounded woman was sent by passing transport to the Staro-Agaginsk hospital. The car was seriously damaged. The driver Dokka from the village of Shatoi was not injured. From his explanations it became clear that he turned off the main road and took a roundabout route to bypass the checkpoint and reduce time. Apparently, the military suspected something was wrong in this maneuver and opened fire to kill.

In the evening in the city of Urus-Martan, military personnel began firing grenade launchers into the air over a residential area. Houses in the village were damaged by shrapnel from explosions. state farm "Highlander", slate roofs are broken. In particular, A. Musaeva's slate was riddled with shrapnel. The fragments were found in many other courtyards in this locality.

On December 10, a group of residents of the city of Urus-Martan appealed to the head of the district administration with a request to protect them from night shelling by the military located on the territory of the former Selkhozkhimiya and Selenergo enterprises.
