At about 8.30 at the height of Yurt-Kort, one and a half kilometers from the village of Aiti-Mokhk, the body of SA Aldabirov was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

At noon, in the Zavodskoy district of Grozny, the Russian military fired on a passenger bus. According to eyewitnesses, one person died on the spot, and several received injuries of varying severity. It was not possible to establish the names of the killed and injured.

At about 11 am, an accident occurred at checkpoint No. 27 (near the Minutka Square) in Grozny. A military Ural (registration number 317 15/RUS) collided with a dark blue VAZ2106 car belonging to a local resident. In addition to the driver, there were three other women and a child in it. None of them were hurt.

In the city of Shali, A.I. Askhabov was abducted by unknown armed men. The relatives applied to the law enforcement agencies and, after long delays, on October 9, 2002, the prosecutor's office of the Shali district opened a criminal case (No. 59243) on this fact. In accordance with Article 208, paragraph 1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, it was suspended on December 9, 2002. The further fate of this person is unknown to the HRC "Memorial".

At night, from the military unit located near the city of Urus-Martan, an artillery strike was carried out on the village of Gekhi. The houses of local residents were damaged.

According to the investigation, this unit began operating after the start of the "SVO," focusing on operations abroad. Denis Alimov, an officer of Center 795, was allegedly arrested in Colombia on charges of planning the kidnapping of opponents of the Russian government. It is believed that one of the targets may have been members of the family of Akhmed Zakayev, head of the government in exile in the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, including an assassination attempt on Zakayev himself.
