A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

The Azerbaijan Popular Front Party called on the international community to take sanctions measures against the country's authorities. “The regime of Ilham Aliyev, known for its harsh authoritarianism and repressive habits, considers any organizations and protests that are not under its control as a big threat. The Independent Confederation of Trade Unions, which defends the rights of workers, in particular couriers, has become one of the targets of persecution,” the appeal says.
The PFPA also demanded an end to the hostile attitude towards the opposition and independent social and political forces in the country. The document notes that in recent months a large number of politicians and public figures, as well as believers, have been arrested for political reasons. Among the political prisoners are eight PFPA activists.
