New names of Ingush residents killed in the war in Ukraine announced

Authorities in Ingushetia have officially reported the deaths of eight more service members from the republic during the war in Ukraine. This information was confirmed by posthumous awards to their relatives by the head of the republic, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov.

Among the dead are Makhmud Aushev, Akhmed Nalgiev, Ismail Kartoyev, Khasan Akhilgov, Bekkhan Balayev, Magomed Izmailov, Tamerlan Khatibov, and Alikhan Khamkhoyev. They were posthumously awarded the Order of Courage and the Zhukov Medal.

Since the beginning of the "SVO," according to unofficial data, the total number of Ingush natives killed has reached approximately 200. According to Vladimir Slastenin, Chairman of the Republic's Government, more than 2,000 Ingush are currently serving in combat with the Russian army.
