Fatima Mamatova, an Ingush ninth-grade student at Karabulak Gymnasium No. 1, faced unethical and racist remarks from a jury member at the International Aviation History Olympiad in Moscow because of her hijab. Serbian pilot and journalist Radmila Tonkovich, calling Fatima's headdress a "national costume," questioned its appropriateness for the event.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that even if Armenia is not admitted to the EU after meeting European standards, this in itself will be a significant achievement, making the country modern and progressive.
"If they accept us, that's good; if not, we will solve one problem: Armenia will become a country that meets modern and progressive standards," Pashinyan emphasized.
Speaking at the UN, he also noted the positive dynamics in relations with Turkey, including regular meetings with President Erdogan and the prospects for establishing diplomatic relations and opening borders.
Furthermore, according to Pashinyan, Armenia is actively developing international ties, including establishing diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, a strategic partnership with China, and strengthening ties with India, Iran, and Georgia.
