Pashinyan considers strategic partnership with the United States important

Armenia, represented by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, congratulated the United States on Independence Day. In his message, the politician emphasized the need for the two states to transition to relations in the form of a strategic partnership.

“I am pleased to note that the commitment to further expand our cooperation in the field of democratic reforms, strengthening economic and energy sustainability, justice, the fight against corruption, and security is reflected in the concept of elevating the strategic dialogue between Armenia and the United States to the level of a strategic partnership,” the address says Armenian Prime Minister.

The congratulations call the American people friendly.

Recently, the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan said that “Russia “cheated” and deceived” his country. He was referring to the lack of support from Moscow in the Armenian-Azerbaijani military conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh. According to Simonyan, a referendum on joining the EU may soon be held in Armenia. He spoke about this in an interview with the Latvian TV channel LSM. lv.
