The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on plans by US President Donald Trump's family, along with local partners, to build a 70-story Trump Tower in Tbilisi. According to the publication, the building is slated to be the tallest in the Georgian capital.
This news comes amid the ruling Georgian Dream party's desire to restore relations with the United States and establish a partnership with the Trump administration.
Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, refrained from commenting on the issue of Armenia's return to the pro-Russian Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). In response to journalists' questions, he stated: "I have nothing to say on this matter. If new information emerged, I would announce it. All my previous statements remain valid."
As a reminder, Yerevan's participation in the CSTO was suspended in February 2024. In December, Moscow stated that there were no obstacles to Armenia's resumption of membership in the organization, emphasizing that the concept of "freezing" is not envisaged by the CSTO's legal framework.
Pashinyan previously stated that the country's withdrawal from the CSTO was highly likely. He noted that Armenia suspended its participation in the organization because, in his view, it posed a threat to the country's security and its existence.
