The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on plans by US President Donald Trump's family, along with local partners, to build a 70-story Trump Tower in Tbilisi. According to the publication, the building is slated to be the tallest in the Georgian capital.
This news comes amid the ruling Georgian Dream party's desire to restore relations with the United States and establish a partnership with the Trump administration.
Pashinyan announced his intention to run in the parliamentary elections
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan intends to personally run in the 2026 parliamentary elections, heading the list of the ruling Civil Contract party. He announced this on his Telegram page.
Against the backdrop of the upcoming elections on June 7 (as announced by Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan), Pashinyan, according to media reports, plans to strictly control the formation of the electoral list and demands the mandatory mobilization of Civil Contract party members.
Interest in participating in the elections is growing: before the application deadline on November 30, several dozen applications have already been received for the Civil Contract electoral list, including from ordinary party members.
